Thanks to Adroit Construction and Pacific Electrical Contractors, construction of the new MRI at Medford Medical Center in Medford, Oregon is now complete. Utilizing amazing lighting and projection systems, this MRI is the pinnacle of medical technology. Here are the pictures:
We’ve come a long way together…
Many issues have been addressed with the Project 5, everything from the typical e28 “lumpy idle” to bad subframe bushings. One thing remains the same though: it is a very simple car to diagnose and repair, and it doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg to fix (provided you can turn a wrench). The limited slip differential has been a wonderful feature, and I highly recommend that if you can get one installed, get it. I have recently installed Bosch Type III injectors from a Ford V8, which is both cheaper and more efficient than the older Type II style. Look for an article on that coming soon!
I was very lucky to be able to photograph the new Rogue Valley International Airport terminal, built by Adroit Construction. A massive terminal compared to its predecessor, everything is brand new and it is a wonderful example of how precise Adroit Construction is when undertaking projects. A blast from the past, but fantastic coverage of the Oregon Trail Rally in 2008 located near Hillsboro and Portland International Raceway (PIR). Rally greats such as Travis Pastrana and Ken Block lit up the show and wowed the crowds!

Adroit construction has had some great projects. Starting in 2007 I covered some buildings such as Medford Mercedes, Oregon Tile and Marble, Ticor Title and the RCC/SOU Higher Learning Center. This is just a collection of pictures from way back when, my technique has improved significantly since those days but it’s great to show people the quality work that Adroit Construction is known for.

About two weeks ago I had the treat of photographing the 2009 Drift Evolution event over at the Jackson County Expo Center. I had a great time, considering this was my first drift event ever. I’m amazed at how much easier it is to shoot than rally, and since the action is right in front of you at all times it’s easy to take a TON of pictures before you know it. By 4pm I had shot ~2,400 photos and decided to call it a day. These were the best shots I ended up with.
